Orbita's outstanding technology joins with a futuristic appearance to become the Tourbillon 1. An ironless Swiss micromotor is concealed within one of the two ball-bearing fitted stainless steel supports, both of which support the plastic-lined stainless steel cylinder on which your watch is mounted over elastomeric self-conforming cushions. Controls are provided on the circuit board for your choice of turns-per-day: 650, 800, 950, or 1300. The on/off switch combines with a 4-position switch that allows clockwise, counter-clockwise, or automatic reversing operations. Your Tourbillon winder comes completely assembled in a 3/8" thick crystal glass enclosure and is covered by an extended 3-year warranty.

Why is it called a Tourbillon? Each turn of the winder delivers your watch into a new incremental position. Your watch rotates 390 in each cycle, then comes to rest. The succeeding cycles repeat the 390 rotation, resulting in 30 steps. After 12 cycles, your watch has circumscribed a full 360. These actions, in effect, make any watch a tourbillon by canceling out the effects of gravity on your watch's balance wheel and promoting supreme accuracy. Warranty: 2-year.
