Great Gate. Mar 17, 2010 We are really pleased with our pet gate. Very surprised at the weight and sturdiness of it. We do have a small dog and it is ideal for her.
Best Gate!!! Mar 15, 2010 Hubby & I needed to block our living room/dining room area to keep the dogs out. We didn't want to damage the walls and we had quite a large opening that needed to be blocked so this gate was the one we chose. We are VERY happy with it. It was easy to put together and it's low enough for us to step over without breaking our necks. The dogs have never tried to push it or jump over it. And it looks much better than your ordinary baby gate. For reference, we have 2 chubby Pugs.
Yorkies can move it! Mar 01, 2010 I don't know what this gate could possibly be used for. Probably for falling on your face when you step over it. That's what we did! My grandma owns this gate, and still *tries* to use it. Before we moved out of her house, we had all tripped trying to step over it at least one, and my not-even-one year-old was pushing it around. My grandma has 3 Yorkies, they all weigh 5-6 lbs. One can jump over this gate, and another can push it open.
Potent Pet Gate Feb 17, 2010 Our Richell wood free-standing pet gate is just right for our situation. It is sturdy, looks good, is easy to assemble... and even allows for a "walk through" hinged side, if you choose to set it up that way. A little pricey... but, we will have it for many years.
So glad I found this! Feb 10, 2010 This gate has several features going for it:
1) Low enough to step over easily
2) Simple to adjust if I want to use it in another area
3) No worries about my cats knocking it down while they leap over it (happens with pressure bar gates)
4) Attractive wood and black metal look fits in nicely with many decors
That sums it up for me!
